This video takes parts of President Obama’s speeches, Mitt
Romney’s speeches, and other recognizable political figures to create a new
version of Eminem’s “Will the Real Slim Shady Please Stand Up.” In this case,
however, the song is called “Will the Real Mitt Romney Please Stand Up.” This
video is a creative way to bring attention to Mitt Romney’s reputation for
flip-flopping on issues. This would not have been possible in the past because
we did not have the editing programs necessary to isolate parts of different
videos and splice them together in a creative, new way to convey a message to
the public while being humorous. Videos such as this one show how far
technology has come and how it can be used in different ways to convey a
message to the public.
